We Are What We Think 2017-05-02T12:53:02+00:00

Project Description

We Are What We Think, an enlightening program for middle and high school students. This interactive discussion helps Teens explore information about emotional challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders through videos, conversations about actors and artists living with depression and bipolar disease and learning various exercises to help stabilize mood swings.

This program informs students about how our thoughts drive our feelings and behavior, helps students explore what depression feels like and encourages teens to create a healthy lifestyle while developing strategies to combat depression and anxiety. Teens learn that these challenges need not define you or impair living a successful life. With support and proper treatment — all things are possible.

Thank you for always saying and doing right for those of us who live with mood disorders. We need as many advocates as we can get!
