CHICAGO, IL — November 1, 2015 — Saturday, November 7, at 6:30 p.m., Rebecca’s Dream will host its 10th Annual Benefit and Silent Auction, “Celebrate the Dream,” at the Ravinia Green Country Club, 1200 Saunders Road, Riverwoods, Ill. Mental health advocate and author Stephen Propst will provide the keynote address and WGN Radio personality Steve Cochran, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. The event also includes dining, dancing, raffle and a silent auction.

“One evening each year we join together as a community to help shed light on depression and bipolar disease. This is a special year as we celebrate a decade of work and look ahead to the next ten,” said Stan Slovin, Event Chair. “This benefit brings people together as a legacy to the life of Rebecca Lynn Cutler, and honors and acknowledges those who fight every day against these diseases.”

The 10th Annual Benefit is organized by Rebecca’s Dream, a 501 (c) 3 Foundation which promotes awareness and compassionate understanding of depression and bipolar disorder as real diseases. The Foundation advocates against mental health stigma, offers grants to likeminded organizations, and develops educational programming for individuals and families living with depression and bipolar diseases. Rebecca’s Dream has raised more than $1,000,000 during the past 10 years.

Tickets to the event along with a listing of silent auction items are now available at www.rebeccasdream.org or by calling 773.42DREAM. Questions about the event can be directed to Kathleen Illes, event coordinator, illeska@comcast.net.
